Some rice grains may pop during roasting, which is why Genmaicha is also known as popcorn tea. Pour hot water at around 80 to 90\u00b0C over the Genmaicha Tea and let it steep for one to two minutes. This keeps the infusion clear and allows the nutty rice notes to come through well.<\/p>\n<p>If you prefer a stronger cup, you can use a little more tea.
