While <a href=\"https:\/\/teasense.ch\/en\/product\/cha-gorreana-orange-pekoe-black-tea-from-the-azores\/\">Orange Pekoe<\/a> represents a finer leaf grade, Pekoe stands out with its uncomplicated nature and is perfect as an everyday tea.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"630\" data-end=\"659\">Origin &amp; uniqueness<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"660\" data-end=\"1049\">On the Gorreana plantation on S\u00e3o Miguel, this Pekoe black tea is made exclusively from the second leaf of the bud. Harvest takes place from mid-April to June, after the Orange Pekoe, when the leaves are more mature yet still young. The result is a tea with a rich, full-bodied flavour and a deep copper-coloured cup \u2013 ideal for the morning or for those who enjoy their tea with a splash of milk.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1051\" data-end=\"1078\">Taste &amp; character<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1079\" data-end=\"1443\">In the cup, Pekoe shows a warm copper tone. Its flavour is aromatic and rounded, with a light malty note and a subtle sweetness. It is less delicate than Orange Pekoe but more robust and full-bodied.
