This matcha whisk made from bamboo is a classic tool for preparing matcha. Also known as a Chasen, it helps you mix matcha powder with water and create an even texture.<\/p>\n

With its compact length of approx. 105 mm, the whisk is well suited for preparing matcha in a bowl. It feels light in the hand and fits a calm, careful matcha routine.<\/p>\n

Classic Chasen for matcha<\/h3>\n

The Chasen is part of traditional matcha preparation. Its fine bamboo bristles are designed to combine matcha powder with water. Instead of stirring in circles, the whisk is usually moved quickly back and forth.<\/p>\n

Depending on your preferred intensity, you can use one to two bamboo spoonfuls of matcha powder. Then add a little hot, not boiling, water and whisk briefly until the powder is well mixed.<\/p>\n

Before using the whisk for the first time, you can soak the bristles in warm water for a few minutes. This makes them more flexible and helps them move more smoothly during preparation.<\/p>\n
