Chai Tea Pur is an aromatic chai tea blend inspired by the traditional preparation of Indian chai. This balanced chai spice blend combines carefully selected spices and fruity ingredients to create a harmonious flavour profile. Unlike traditional masala chai, this chai tea blend contains no black tea and can therefore be enjoyed on its own or combined with black tea according to your preference. The chai blend is suitable for preparation with both water and milk. When simmered, the typical chai spices develop their full aroma and create a rich, spicy taste.<\/p>\n

Chai Tea Pur Ingredients<\/h3>\n

This chai spice blend is made from carefully selected ingredients that give Indian chai its characteristic flavour. Ingredients (spice tea blend):<\/strong> Orange peel, cinnamon pieces, ginger pieces, star anise, fennel, black pepper, cardamom, cloves and liquorice root. The fruity aroma of orange peel pairs beautifully with the warm notes of cinnamon, cardamom and cloves. Ginger and black pepper provide a pleasant spiciness, while fennel and star anise add depth and complexity. This chai blend without black tea is ideal if you prefer a purely spiced alternative. If you enjoy traditional masala chai but would rather avoid black tea, this versatile chai spice blend is an excellent choice. Preparation and Enjoyment<\/h4>\n

You can prepare Chai Tea Pur with either water or milk. Traditionally, the blend is simmered before milk is added if desired. This allows the spices to fully develop their aroma. For preparing chai tea, we recommend the following steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Bring water to a boil.<\/li>\n
  2. Use approximately 1\u20132 teaspoons (about 2\u20134 grams) of Chai Tea Pur per cup (250 ml).<\/li>\n
  3. Place the chai spice blend in a teapot or mug and pour over the boiling water. Let it steep for 5\u20137 minutes to allow the flavours to develop fully.<\/li>\n
  4. For a traditional preparation, add milk (approx. 100 ml) after steeping. Bring the mixture briefly back to a simmer.<\/li>\n
  5. Sweeten your chai to taste with sugar or another sweetener.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Chai is traditionally prepared using black tea. The word “chai” simply means “tea”. The best-known version is masala chai, an Indian tea made with black tea and a blend of aromatic spices.
