Chai Tea Pure is an aromatic chai spice blend without black tea. It combines warming spices, gentle heat and a light fruity note in a versatile mixture that can be prepared on its own or combined with black tea.<\/p>\n
The blend is inspired by the flavour of traditional Indian chai but contains no tea leaves. This allows the spices to remain at the centre of the cup. You can prepare it with water, milk or a plant-based alternative and adjust the intensity to your own taste.<\/p>\n
The mixture contains orange peel, cinnamon pieces, ginger pieces, star anise, fennel, black pepper, cardamom, cloves and liquorice root.<\/p>\n

For a simple preparation, pour boiling water over the desired amount of the mixture and allow enough time for the spices to infuse. If you would like to add milk, stir it in afterwards and warm the drink again briefly.<\/p>\n
For a more traditional-style preparation, simmer the spices directly in water and milk. This brings out the cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and pepper more clearly. Sweeten the finished chai with sugar, rock candy or another sweetener according to taste.<\/p>\n
Chai Tea Pure can also be used as a base for individual combinations. Add black tea, rooibos or extra spices depending on the flavour you prefer. A little more ginger creates additional heat, while cinnamon or vanilla gives the cup a softer and sweeter character.<\/p>\n
