Description
Ayurveda Kapha Tea – spicy-fresh spice and herbal tea
Our Ayurveda Kapha Spice and Herbal Tea is an aromatic blend with ginger, lemongrass, liquorice root, anise, cinnamon, coriander, lemon oil, lemon verbena, black pepper and cardamom. The tea tastes spicy, fresh, slightly lemony and pleasantly aromatic.
The blend combines warm spice notes with clear citrus freshness. Ginger, cinnamon, cardamom and black pepper bring a fine spice to the cup. Lemongrass, lemon verbena and lemon oil add a bright, fresh note, while anise and liquorice root round off the taste.
Ayurveda Kapha Tea with ginger and lemongrass
Kapha is one of the three dosha terms in Ayurveda. In this tea, the Kapha name stands for a spicy, fresh recipe with selected herbs and spices. We describe this blend through taste, ingredients and preparation.
If you enjoy bold herbal and spice teas, this Kapha Tea is a good choice. It tastes pure, but can also be rounded off with a little honey or rock sugar.
Ayurveda Kapha Spice Tea taste
Ayurveda Kapha Tea tastes spicy, fresh, slightly sweet and lemony. Ginger, pepper, cardamom and cinnamon add depth, while lemongrass and lemon verbena make the blend taste fresh and clear.
Liquorice root brings a natural, gentle sweetness. Anise adds a fine, slightly liquorice-like note that pairs well with the spice base.
How to prepare Ayurveda Kapha Tea
For one cup, use about 2 g of the blend, approx. 1 teaspoon, per 200 ml of water. Pour boiling water at 100 °C over the tea and let it steep for 7–10 minutes.
After steeping, strain the herbs and spices. If you prefer a more intense taste, you can use a little more tea or extend the steeping time slightly.
