Preparation

These teas usually prefer lower water temperatures than black tea. For many varieties, we recommend water at about 70–85 °C and a steeping time of 2–3 minutes. This keeps the taste fine, fresh and not too bitter.

Depending on the variety, the ideal preparation can vary slightly. Please check the instructions on the individual product page. If you prefer a milder infusion, use a little less tea or shorten the steeping time.

Pure, blended or cold

Fine varieties taste especially clear when enjoyed pure. Aromatic blends with fruits, flowers or herbs can add a softer or fruitier note.

For a cold version, you can prepare the tea a little stronger, let it cool and serve it with ice cubes. Depending on the variety, mint, lemon slices, apple pieces or a little honey can pair well with it.
