Dried Dandelion Flowers for Tea and Creative Recipes
Dried dandelion flowers bring a mild, slightly floral taste to tea and creative recipes. They can be infused on their own, combined with other herbs and blossoms or used as a decorative ingredient in sweet and savoury dishes.
The fine yellow blossoms are versatile and can be used on their own or together with other herbs and flowers. Their delicate aroma also makes them suitable for homemade loose tea blends.
Preparing tea with dandelion flowers
For one cup of tea, pour 2–3 dl of boiling water over one teaspoon of dried dandelion flowers and let it steep covered for 10 minutes. Strain the flowers before drinking and enjoy to taste.
Use the flowers in many ways
Besides tea, the flowers can be used for homemade dandelion syrup or dandelion molasses. They also add a gentle floral note to desserts, muesli, cold dishes and other kitchen ideas.
Vegan dandelion honey
Dandelion honey, also known as dandelion molasses, is a plant-based alternative to honey. It can be used as a spread or to sweeten tea, muesli and desserts.
