Vanilla tea with balanced black tea character

Vanilla and black tea work well together because the soft aroma of vanilla rounds off the stronger tea base. The blend still remains clearly recognisable as black tea and does not taste overloaded.

If you enjoy plain black tea but sometimes prefer a softer direction, this tea is a good choice. You can drink it pure or add a little milk or sweetness according to taste.

Preparation of black tea with vanilla

For preparation, use about twelve grams of tea per litre of water. Pour boiling hot water at 100°C over the blend and let it steep for about three to five minutes. This allows the tea base and vanilla note to develop well.

If you prefer a stronger taste, you can use a little more tea. A much longer steeping time can make black tea taste more tart, so a precise steeping time is recommended.
