Description
Black tea with a fine vanilla note
Vanilla Black Tea combines black tea from Rwanda with natural vanilla aroma. The blend tastes full-bodied, rounded and softly sweet. It suits anyone who enjoys classic black tea but would like a smooth vanilla note with it.
The black tea forms the strong base of this blend. Vanilla adds a gentle aromatic note without covering the character of the tea. This creates a balanced infusion with pleasant depth.
Taste of black tea with vanilla
The taste is rounded, smooth and aromatic. The black tea brings depth, structure and a light malty direction. The natural vanilla aroma adds a fine impression of sweetness and makes the infusion softer.

Vanilla tea with balanced black tea character
Vanilla and black tea work well together because the soft aroma of vanilla rounds off the stronger tea base. The blend still remains clearly recognisable as black tea and does not taste overloaded.
If you enjoy plain black tea but sometimes prefer a softer direction, this tea is a good choice. You can drink it pure or add a little milk or sweetness according to taste.
Preparation of black tea with vanilla
For preparation, use about twelve grams of tea per litre of water. Pour boiling hot water at 100°C over the blend and let it steep for about three to five minutes. This allows the tea base and vanilla note to develop well.
If you prefer a stronger taste, you can use a little more tea. A much longer steeping time can make black tea taste more tart, so a precise steeping time is recommended.

Storage
To preserve scent and taste, store Vanilla Black Tea in a dry, cool and well-sealed place. Avoid direct sunlight, moisture and strong surrounding odours because black tea and flavoured tea blends can easily absorb smells. This keeps the tea rounded, smooth and aromatic in taste.
