Our chai spice blend is a balanced mix of fennel, cinnamon pieces, anise, ginger, liquorice root, cloves and cardamom. It delivers a warm, spicy flavour with a gentle sweetness and a subtle kick, perfect for chai tea, chai latte or masala chai.
You can prepare it with water, milk, plant-based drinks or black tea – giving you full flexibility for your daily chai moments.
Make your own chai latte and masala chai
For a chai latte, simply heat the spice blend with milk or a plant-based drink and sweeten to taste. For a traditional masala chai, add black tea for a stronger base. Robust teas like Ceylon or Assam work especially well.
Use around 15–20 g of chai spice blend per litre of water. Pour in boiling water (100 °C) and let it steep for 7–10 minutes so the spices can fully release their aroma. For a creamier version, simmer the blend directly in milk or a plant-based drink.

Do you need black tea for chai?

For a caffeine-free version, simply prepare it with water, milk or a plant-based drink. This gives you a mild chai that’s perfect for relaxed moments – even in the evening.
