Description

Darjeeling Earl Grey with fine bergamot scent

Darjeeling Earl Grey combines the bright, floral character of Darjeeling black tea with the classic scent of bergamot. The blend tastes elegant, balanced and finely citrus-like. It suits anyone who enjoys Earl Grey tea but prefers a lighter and more floral black tea base.

The Darjeeling brings a fine, slightly floral note to the cup. The natural bergamot aroma adds a fresh, citrus-like direction without covering the character of the black tea. This creates an Earl Grey Darjeeling with a clear black tea base and aromatic scent.

Darjeeling Earl Grey with floral black tea character

Compared with stronger Earl Grey blends, this tea tastes a little finer and brighter. The Darjeeling base gives it elegance and a subtle floral note. Bergamot rounds off the taste with its typical citrus nuance.

Earl Grey Darjeeling as a fine black tea blend

Earl Grey Darjeeling combines two well-known tea profiles: Darjeeling black tea and bergamot. Darjeeling is known for its fine, bright and aromatic character. Together with bergamot, it creates a classic but more delicate Earl Grey variation.

The tea is well suited for drinking pure. If you prefer a softer taste, you can also try it with a little milk. For a fresher direction, a small splash of lemon also fits, although the bergamot scent already brings a clear citrus note.

Preparation of Darjeeling Earl Grey

For preparation, use about twelve grams of tea per litre of water. Pour boiling hot water at 100°C over the tea and let it steep for about three minutes. This keeps the black tea clear in taste and allows the bergamot to come through well.

If you prefer a stronger cup, you can use a little more tea. A much longer steeping time can make black tea quickly taste more tart, so a short and precise steeping time is recommended.

Ingredients

Darjeeling tea and natural aroma.

A matching Earl Grey tea

If you enjoy the classic taste of Earl Grey, our Earl Grey Blue Royal is also a good match. It combines black tea with blue cornflower blossoms and bergamot aroma.

Storage

To preserve scent and taste, store Darjeeling Earl Grey in a dry, cool and well-sealed place. Avoid direct sunlight, moisture and strong surrounding odours because black tea and flavoured tea blends can easily absorb smells. This keeps the tea floral, citrus-like and aromatic in taste.
