Description
Lapacho Tea
Our Lapacho Tea is made from the bark of the Lapacho tree, also known as Pau d’arco or the “tree of life”. Each cup carries a piece of South American tradition. The tea offers a mild, woody flavour with a gentle natural sweetness.
Lapacho can be enjoyed in different ways: warm on colder days or cooled as a refreshing drink. Many prefer it lukewarm or cold, as the flavour develops especially softly.
For variation, you can refine it with mint or a splash of lemon. Spices such as cinnamon, ginger or cloves also pair well with its woody character.
Preparation
Add 1–2 heaped teaspoons to about 1 litre of boiling water and let it simmer briefly. Then cover and let it steep for 10–15 minutes. Due to its woody nature, Lapacho requires a longer infusion time.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry and dark place.
