Nursing Tea – mild herbal blend with fennel, anise and caraway

Our Nursing Tea is a finely balanced herbal blend with fenugreek seeds, fennel, anise, lemon balm leaves, lemongrass, caraway and lavender blossoms. The tea tastes mild, slightly sweet, herbal and pleasantly spicy.

Fennel, anise and caraway give the blend its classic herbal tea character. Fenugreek seeds add a slightly nutty depth, while lemon balm and lemongrass bring a fresh note. Lavender blossoms round off the blend with a fine floral nuance.

Nursing Tea taste

Nursing Tea tastes mild, rounded, slightly sweet and spicy. The combination of fennel, anise and caraway creates a familiar herbal note, while lemongrass and lemon balm make the tea taste a little fresher.

The lavender blossoms add a delicate floral note. Fenugreek seeds also bring a subtle, slightly nutty component to the cup.

Herbal blend with fennel, anise and caraway

This herbal blend is deliberately simple and contains no added flavourings. It is suitable if you are looking for a mild herbal tea with a classic fennel-anise-caraway base and a fresh lemony note.

You can drink the tea pure or round it off with a little rock sugar. A little lemon peel also pairs well with the fresh herbal note.

How to prepare Nursing Tea

For one cup, use about 2 g of the herbal blend, approx. 1–2 teaspoons, per 200 ml of water. Pour hot water at 90 °C over the herbs and let the tea steep for 8–10 minutes.

After steeping, strain the herbs. If you prefer a more intense taste, use a little more tea or extend the steeping time slightly.
