Description

Licorice Black Tea – strong licorice tea with black tea and anise

Our Licorice Black Tea combines a strong black tea blend with licorice root, anise and sweet herb. The result is a full-bodied tea with spicy depth, natural sweetness and a clear licorice note.

The black tea base includes teas from China, Assam and Ceylon. This blend brings strength, tartness and structure to the cup. Licorice root and anise add the typical licorice taste, while sweet herb rounds off the flavour.

Licorice tea with black tea

If you like licorice and also enjoy strong black tea, this blend is a good choice. The tea tastes intense, spicy and slightly sweet, without added flavourings.

The licorice note comes from licorice root, anise and sweet herb. This makes the taste natural, rounded and not artificial. Depending on the steeping time, you can prepare the tea milder or stronger.

Licorice Black Tea taste

Licorice Black Tea tastes strong, spicy, slightly tart and naturally sweet. The Assam and Ceylon teas bring depth and black tea character, while the licorice root adds a distinctive licorice note.

Anise enhances the sweet-spicy direction and pairs well with the strong black tea base. This creates a tea for anyone who enjoys distinctive black tea blends with their own character.

How to prepare Licorice Black Tea

For one cup, use about 2 g of the blend, approx. 1 teaspoon, per 200 ml of water. Pour hot water at 90–95 °C over the tea and let it steep for 3–5 minutes.

After 3 minutes, the tea stays a little milder and more balanced. After 5 minutes, the black tea becomes stronger and the licorice note more intense.

Why Licorice Black Tea?

  • Strong black tea base – with tea from China, Assam and Ceylon
  • Natural licorice note – from licorice root, anise and sweet herb
  • Spicy and full-bodied – with pleasant depth
  • No added flavourings – taste from tea, herbs and spices
  • For special black tea moments – pure or with a little milk

Licorice Black Tea pure or with milk

You can drink this licorice tea pure or round it off with a small splash of milk. Pure, the licorice note is clearer; with milk, the taste becomes softer and creamier.
