Description

Meadowsweet Tea with a floral herbal aroma

Meadowsweet Tea is prepared from meadowsweet flowers with herb and creates an aromatic herbal infusion with a floral, lightly sweet-tart taste. This traditional wild herb is also known by names such as mead wort or queen of the meadow.

For this herbal tea, the flowers and herb are dried and cut. In the cup, it shows a light, harmonious infusion with a fine herbal note and a gentle floral character.

Taste of Meadowsweet Tea

The taste is floral, aromatic and lightly tart. The subtle impression of sweetness makes the infusion pleasantly rounded without feeling heavy. This makes meadowsweet suitable as a pure herbal tea or as part of your own tea blends.

Using meadowsweet flowers with herb

Meadowsweet flowers with herb can be infused on their own or combined with other herbs. The floral-tart character works well with mild herbs, apple pieces, lemon verbena, elderflowers or other flowers and herbs.

If you like creating your own herbal blends, meadowsweet adds a fine meadow and blossom note. It works especially well in combinations with gentle, fruity or lightly lemony ingredients.

Preparation of Meadowsweet Tea

For preparation, use one to two teaspoons of meadowsweet flowers with herb per cup. Pour hot water at around 95 to 100°C over the herb and let the tea steep for eight to ten minutes.

This creates an aromatic herbal infusion with a floral note and a lightly sweet-tart taste. If you prefer a stronger cup, you can use a little more tea.
