How to prepare black tea
For most varieties, we recommend about 2 g of tea per 200 ml of water. Pour hot water at 90–95 °C over the leaves and let them steep for 3–5 minutes, depending on the variety. A shorter steeping time gives a milder cup, while a longer steeping time creates a stronger flavour.
Depending on the blend, you can enjoy black tea on its own, with milk, with rock sugar or cold as iced tea. Stronger varieties such as Assam or broken tea blends are especially suitable with milk.
