This tea style is suitable for a classic cup in the morning, a stronger afternoon break or as a base for milk tea, chai and your own blends.
Which varieties can you find here?

Assam tea: strong, malty and full-bodied.
Ceylon tea: clear, aromatic and lightly tart.
Earl Grey: with a fine bergamot note.
Chai tea: a spiced blend with warmth and character.
Flavoured teas: with fruit, spice or floral notes.

Preparation
For most varieties, we recommend about 2 g of tea per 200 ml of water. Pour hot water at 90–95 °C over the leaves and let them steep for 3–5 minutes, depending on the variety. A shorter steeping time gives a milder cup, while a longer steeping time makes the taste stronger.

Depending on the blend, you can enjoy the tea pure, with milk, with rock sugar or cold as iced tea. Stronger varieties such as Assam or broken tea blends are especially suitable with milk.
Pure, with milk or as chai
Fine varieties taste especially clear when enjoyed pure. Stronger blends can be combined well with milk. Spiced versions such as chai add extra warmth and depth to the cup.

Blends with vanilla, citrus, fruit or spices are also popular if you want your tea to taste a little rounder or more special.
