Oolong
Semi-oxidised teas with character
In this category, you will find Oolong tea, a style that sits between green and black tea in taste. Depending on the variety, it can be floral, fruity, soft, nutty or lightly roasted.
These teas traditionally come from China and Taiwan. Through processing, oxidation and roasting, different flavour profiles are created – from light and floral to warmer and more full-bodied.

This makes it easier to choose whether you prefer a lighter, floral or stronger tea.
What makes this tea style special?
Oolong is only partially oxidised. Depending on the processing, it can combine fresh, bright notes with rounder and deeper aromas. Some varieties are closer to green tea, while others move more towards black tea in taste.
Roasting also plays an important role. Lightly roasted varieties often taste finer and more floral, while stronger roasted versions can be warmer, nuttier or more full-bodied.
Preparation
For many varieties, we recommend water at about 85–90 °C and a steeping time of 2–4 minutes. Depending on the tea, several infusions are also possible, with the aroma changing slightly from cup to cup.
Please follow the preparation recommendation on the product page. You can then adjust dosage and steeping time to your taste.
